Read Page 1 ... MORA and what is, and asked where to find the highest obstacle. For approach it was an ILS approach, they asked what the frequency was, what the final approach course is, what the final approach fix is, what you would do if visibility was reported below what’s required for the plate prior to the FAF and after, and asked about 91.175 descending below DA. They asked about MEA on enroute chart, whether a published hold was standard or non standard and how we’d enter from a certain direction,...

Everything you see in the website is very accurate. Van leaves the hotel at 0620 sharp, don’t be late. You will get to their headquarters at 0700 to do some paperwork and they will take your breakfast order. They will do a presentation then start calling everyone down in groups of 3. The interview was straightforward, mostly what you study on here with a few things to test your ADM. Be careful and take your time with your answers, especially on the Jepp Charts. The METAR started off... -

My flight down was Sunday afternoon for a Monday interview. There aren't too many places to eat by the hotel but places were closed since it was Sunday, so I had food delivered. The next morning we met downstairs. The van was a little late but normally it gets there at 0620 and leaves promptly. There were 9 of us interviewing--7 FOs and 2 cadets. The interviews are the exact same, so study both gouges. We arrived at the hotel around 0700 had had 30 minutes to hang out and talk while we... -

As everyone knows, this website is the best study resource for the interview. The questions are spot on, and they don't stray too far from it. The biggest thing I can say is that you shouldn't just study this Guide. You also need to look at Jepp plates, Jepp Guide, and basic instrument regulations to be able to pass. Envoy is a great company, and they want you to get the job. The interview was 30 minutes long, and they asked HR and Tech questions. You arrive at HQ and they take your logbooks... -

Interview was very straight forward and if you study the gouge for this and the envoy first officer interview you will be fine. Study, study and then study some more. Day before they fly you out, put you in a hotel. Van leaves around 6:20 in the morning, just go downstairs around 6, and greet the other people you will be interviewing with, as you will be with them all day. You get to HQ, and they put you in a room, take your docs and logobooks, then everyone goes upstairs to the room where... -

AviationInterviews gougue was great. It seemed like the questions are all slightly ammended to the preferance of the interviewer. There were two questions on the interview I was not prepared for, (view the study guide of this website). Everyone was super friendly the whole day. You do have a lot of waiting time, I think I had two hours of down time before my interview, bring snacks and bring whatever study guide/pre material you have so you can refresh before going... -

The interviewers let us know immediately that the cadet interview will be the exact same as the FO interview. They told our class they are aiming to interview 40 FO's/Cadets a week and they interview M-Thursdays. In our group there were 10 people (2 cadets and 8 FO applicants). As soon as you get there, be prepared to sign in and choose a breakfast option. The interview instructions are very clear that it will start at 7:30 sharp and will accept no late interviewees. I got there at 6:30am... -

My experience was very much the same as others on here. The folks that I had the privilege of doing my interview with were absolutely awesome, didn't even feel like an interview for the most part. The HR questions were very straight forward and there were no TMAAT questions. The technical side was just as others described and none of their questions were a surprise to me. Make sure to give straight answers during the technical portion just as you would a check ride, they will keep asking... -

Everyone's experiences in this section were extremely accurate and helpful. Be yourself and personable. For the technical portion (view the study guide of this website). Study the Jepp charts! Runway lengths, overruns, airport beacons, lighted wind sock, coordinates of ARP, LAHSO, MEA, MOCA, what the DA is on an approach, what side is the papi on, 91.175. Only thing I couldn't remember was the Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on the... -

You’ll be asked items from Jepp charts for the airport diagram, SID, STAR, and approach plates. From the airport diagram, they asked about a runway length, asked what ARP was, asked what the displaced threshold symbol was and asked what a displaced threshold is. For SID they asked about any altitude or speed limitations/restrictions, what frequency, and MSA. STARs they asked about speed and altitude restrictions, asked about the 3-1 descent rule for when we’d want to descend,...
