You had to convince your crew to do something You had to be assertive with a passenger You had to delicate tasks to your crew You were stressed in the flight (3 others but I forget). Pick a normal flight you do everyday. 13 briefing items. Gotta hit em all! QRH procedure for a door light after takeoff. Brief the STAR. Airfield shuts down for VIP movement in DC. Holding instructions with an EFC way past Bingo Fuel…. Gotta declare and divert. Given two alternates (both CAT I, and landing with 25min and 35min of fuel remaining.) Pick one and defend your answer. Debrief the flight on one of the 7 or so topics you can discuss, but can’t choose “communication” because it’s too easy. Don’t forget to...

Just like all the others. We walked in the cafeteria with our logbooks. Once a United Pilot took us to tour the museum, he told us to put our logbooks on a rolling table. We then took a tour of the museum for about 30 min then we went to a briefing room where he told how the interview process would be. I was then brought back into the interview room. A senior pilot and a guy from HR. Nice guys but have to be stone face during the interview. Proceeded to Tell me about yourself then 5 TMAAT....

Great experience, tell me about yourself, 5 TMAAT questions (35 minutes), technical DEN-SFO with yaw damper failure and a diversion at SFO (was given two options), why United. Super straightforward, very nice people, same experience as everyone else. Interviewed on a Tuesday and got the CJO on Monday...

Typical interview that they are running right now. Had a 10am interview and they ask that you show up an hour prior to your interview time. You check in and they seat you in the cafeteria, while you wait for all the other candidates to show up. After everyone has arrived, they will take you on a tour of the building where you will drop off your logbooks prior to going inside the museum. After the museum tour they take you to another room where you wait for your interviewer to take you back....

TMAAT (25mins): Tell me about yourself Proud of your leadership Had to give someone feedback Someone made a mistake You were too focused on one thing  Technical probably took 40 minutes.  (view the study guide of this website, including the Sim/Scenario...

They fly you out to Denver. You are in charge of your own hotel, but there are three close ones to the training center. When you get to the training center you will wait in the cafeteria until a logbook review starts. While the logbook review is being conducted a pilot gives you a tour. A different pilot walks you into the interview room with an HR person and that pilot. You start with HR questions about five of them. They are pretty generic "tell me about yourself" and "tell...

Overall good experience. They will allow you to come up to 2 days before and leave 2 days after the interview date I believe. I opted to come in the day before. Day of interview took the shuttle to the building, checked in, dropped bags and waited in cafeteria until we were called back. Quick intro about growth plans etc then a short overview of how the interview would go. After that, we were taken one by one into the interview room. Started with some general questions and then went into the...

HR:  Talk us through your resume and how you got here.  Tell us about the training failure that you’ve had. . TMAAT - Challenging experience / situation  TMAAT you’ve had an emotional response to something or someone at work  TMAAT you’ve felt overwhelmed at work and how you handled it.  TMAAT that you disengaged at work and how you dealt with it. (This one stumped me!). TMAAT that you intervened or took on a role that you were not...

They were very welcoming. Interviewed with 4 other people, all regional pilots. They gave us a tour around the building while they reviewed our logbooks. Then we were brought in for the HR interview. 5 TMAAT questions. They write everything down so the long pauses are fine. I probably talk too much. You take a break after and then get brought in for the technical interview. Know the 13 briefing items and the 7 CRM/TEM items. They had me walk them through a ORD-DCA flight. FO on their phone...

Great experience at United. Took a tour of the training centre. The first portion is HR, Tell me about yourself, 5 Tell me about a time, then the technical portion which was straightforward. EWR-ORD, briefed the departure according to the 13 points in the study guide. Asked questions about the SID chart related to what altitude to set if given climb via the SID, what altitude if you're vectored off. In flight a door light comes on, handle it according to the QRH. On descend, weather...

Very solid, straight forward service that got me ready for both of my huge 121 interviews I’ve had, and I’m 2 for 2 so the results speak for themselves!
